Kenora Biathletes Continue To Rule The

Manitoba Circuit  

Local biathletes continue to excel this season on the Manitoba circuit.

Local skiers picked up six first place finishes and two seconds at the Manitoba Provincial
races over the weekend in Falcon Lake.

Adam Johnson was first in the two kilometer sprint in the men’s developmental division on Saturday and first in the Sunday Pursuit Race, hitting all 30 targets in both races.

Jennifer Findlay was first in the two kilometer women’s developmental sprint race, and also finished first in the Pursuit Race.

Tim Wehner was first in the master’s men’s in the two kilometer sprint and first in the pursuit.

The Kenora Nordic and Biathlon Club credits their work at the Lake of the Woods Gun club for their
strong performance this season.
