Passed during a special sitting of the Ontario legislature and with the full cooperation of all parties, the Declaration of Emergency has been extended until May 12. The extension of the provincial declaration of emergency allows Ontario to continue to enforce current emergency orders, such as the closure of all non-essential workplaces, outdoor amenities such as parks and recreational areas.
This is not the news we are all looking for but as we are bound by provincial law, we must comply and remain closed.
At this time the health and welfare of our members is the primary concern of our board.
We are keeping open all avenues of communication with the powers that be to keep our members as informed as possible.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding on this matter, we will see you all out there as soon as we get the word.
As we get updates, we will send them out.
